A new study reported on Prevention.com found adults who use e-cigarettes are 22% more likely to develop increased blood sugar and pre-diabetes than those who don’t. Can we even shock scientists anymore? Apparently so. Yes, even scientists were completely surprised by the growing numbers of pre diabetes among users. For some time now, these products “have been touted as a safer alternative” to traditional cigarettes. But nothing could be further from the truth, growing evidence indicates they pose the same or very similar threats to smoking itself.
